During this city walk you will pass the most beautiful sights and buildings in the center of Groningen.
The walk starts at the Groninger Museum. Opposite you will immediately see the beautiful station building (recommended to also take a look inside!). Furthermore, this route takes you past various sights, such as the Groninger Museum, the Maritime Museum, the Aa-kerk, the Rijksuniversiteit and the Martini Tower. The Forum, the Pepergasthuis and the Oosterpoort are also on the route.

Turn left via the Ubo Emmiussingel.
At the roundabout you walk to the Praediniussingel. Here you see the Academie Minerva.
Continue walking towards the Museumstraat. Here you walk down the path along the Kleine der A.
Make a right turn to the Brugstraat. Here you will see the Noordelijk Scheepvaartmuseum and a little further on the A-church.
Walk through the Akerkhof to the left to the Akerstraat. Here you will see the Der Aa-theater. Walk further to the right through the Grote Kromme Elleboog.
Make a left turn into Oude Kijk in ’t Jatstraat. Here you will walk past the University Museum.
When you see the first street, turn right via Broerstraat. Here you will find the University of Groningen. At the end of this street, turn right via Oude Boteringestraat.
Then you make a left turn along the Grote Markt. You walk this path all the way to the Martintoren. In the meantime you pass the City Hall.
At the end of the path is the Martinikerk. You can also see the Vindicat building.
Make the left turn around the church. Here is the Martinikerkhof.
At the Gardepoort, turn left into the Singelstraat. Walk all the way down it. Then make the turn to the right into the Sint Jansstraat. Here you will see the GRID Graphic Museum.
At the Martinikerkhof you turn left again through the Popkenstraat. Here is the Forum. Walk along here and then turn left through the Nieuwe Markt. At the end of the street you turn right along Achter de Muur.
Make the turn to the right to the Peperstraat. Here is the Pepergasthuis. Then go along the Kleine Peperstraat turn to the right through the Gedempte Kattendiep.
Just before the path continues to the Zuiderdiep, turn left through the Rademarkt. The Police Station is located here. Continue to the Verlengde Oosterstraat past the Sint Jozef Cathedral.
Here you go directly to the left, via the Radesingel At the end you go to the right through the Trompstraat. Cross the Trompbrug. Here you see the Oosterpoort.
Walk down the Trompsingel to the Zuiderpark. Eventually you will end up at the Stationsweg. This is the end point.
