In the summer of 2020 the construction of the Feringa Building on the Zernike Campus Groningen is going to start. The building will have space for 1400 students and 850 employees of the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
The new building of 64,000 m2 will get the shape of three connected V-wings and, in addition to office and lecture rooms, it will also contain a wide range of special laboratories, including physical, (bio)chemical and vibration-free labs.
The Feringa Building will become one of the largest structures in the Netherlands. The construction is expected to last until 2023.
