There’s plenty to discover in Groningen city centre during Zomerstad. There are five days of activities for children in total, including a closing party on 29 July. The programme is packed with music, culture and sport. During the event, you can take part in a wide range of activities on the Grote Markt, such as a BMX lesson, enjoy a performance or dance in a proper kids-friendly club: Ocean41. Twice a day, you can join the parade with your own creation. This cheerful parade starts on the Grote Markt.
