The Menzis 4 Mijl of Groningen is truly the biggest running event in the northern Netherlands!
The traditional and iconic route takes you 6.4 km from Haren to the Vismarkt in the heart of Groningen. Since 1987, the event has been organised every year on the second weekend of October. On and along the route, it is one big party with thousands of spectators, musical entertainment, and, of course, tens of thousands of runners who run the traditional 4 Miles. Don’t miss the biggest running party in the northern Netherlands!
In 2027, the 40th edition takes place. The 4Mijl4You is on Saturday 9 October and the traditional 4 Mijl is run on Sunday 10 October.
