Panzo Sandwiches is an Italian sandwich joint with unique sandwiches inspired by the schiacciata sandwiches from Florence. You can get a delicious and filling sandwich here with authentic Italian ingredients, such as a sandwich with stracciatella cheese, mortadella or prosciutto. The owner started Panzo Sandwiches because she couldn’t find this kind of sandwich anywhere else in Groningen, so that’s why she thought: Why don’t I start a schiacciata sandwich business myself? Every morning the owner gets up extremely early to make all the bread herself so you can always expect fresh sandwiches at Panzo. Currently Panzo only has a pop up shop located at Gedempt Zuiderdiep, but they are busy looking for a new location.
