The Jacob and Annagasthuis is located in the former red-light district. The guest house was founded on the 19th of February 1495 by Jacob Grovens and his wife Eteke Sluchtinge. Because of its distribution of food, the guest house was given the nickname Lekkerbeetjesgasthuis.
