Forum Groningen (former Groninger Forum) is a striking building in the city centre of Groningen. The building opened on the 29th of November 2019 with a 24-hour celebration. The Forum is located at a new square, the Nieuwe Markt, situated on the east side of the Grote Markt, the central square of the city.
The Forum is a public meeting point for residents and visitors of the city of Groningen. It is a multi-functional building including cinema rooms, exposition halls, a library, a lunch-café, a restaurant and the museum Storyworld (the new Stripmuseum).
A parking garage can be found under the Forum, for both 390 cars and 1200 bicycles.
