About Storyworld

Storyworld opened at the end of 2019: a cool and contemporary museum in which cartoon stands in the foreground and creativity is celebrated. You will find Dutch and international successes in the field of comics, animation and games, but above all visitors from young to old can get to work with all the building blocks and aspects of cartoon in these three forms.

Storyworld will receive the collection of the Dutch Comic Strip Museum, which closed in March 2019. Storyworld is situated in the ten-storey Forum Groningen, right in the heart of Groningen.
