Groningen can look forward to a summer’s evening packed with hits, humour and pure entertainment. In 2027, Robbie Williams is coming to our Stadspark for a huge open-air concert. The British superstar and born entertainer will take you on a journey through all his classics, complemented by new tracks from his latest album, BRITPOP. Expect a show where you’ll be singing along from the very first song to the very last, now live at our very own racecourse. Froukje will be the Very Special Guest opening the show, so even the warm-up promises to be a party.
Robbie Williams has been one of the world’s biggest and most beloved artists for decades. With 90 million albums sold, 16 UK number one albums and a record-breaking 18 BRIT Awards, he has built up an impressive musical legacy. His success in the Netherlands is also unprecedented: Robbie has had no fewer than 30 Top 40 hits and spent a total of 333 weeks in the Dutch Top 40.
In 2026, he’ll be back in the spotlight with BRITPOP, but it’s on stage, above all, that he lives up to his reputation as a phenomenal entertainer. His shows are guaranteed to feature spectacular productions, big hits, humour and unrivalled energy. From ‘Angels’ and ‘Let Me Entertain You’ to ‘Feel’, ‘Rock DJ’ and ‘Candy’: Robbie has an arsenal of global hits that could get an entire racecourse singing along. An evening with him is more than just a concert; it’s an evening of pure entertainment.
The show featuring Robbie Williams and Very Special Guest Froukje is a collaboration between MOJO and SPOT Groningen and forms part of Summerstage, a series of large-scale concerts taking place in the Stadspark at the start of summer. The first edition in 2025 brought acts such as Neil Young, The Teskey Brothers and Acda en De Munnik to our city. In 2026, Snow Patrol, Kraantje Pappie and Mumford & Sons followed.
That trend will continue in 2027. In addition to Robbie Williams, TOTO will also be performing at the Stadspark. A band celebrating its 50th anniversary with a show full of unforgettable classics. With two such world-renowned acts, the summer of 2027 is one to circle on your calendar.
