The Vismarkt is one of Groningen’s iconic squares. In 1670, the Fish Market was used to sell fish. Nowadays you will find several restaurants and shops at the fish market. Every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday there is a market on the square with several stalls. In addition to the market, the Vismarkt is also used for other events.
