As of March 14, 2022, the bicycle parking facility at the Grote Markt will be open. This bicycle parking facility is located in the basement of the Groot Handelshuis (the former VD building) and has space for 1,500 bicycles. This parking is located in the heart of the city of Groningen and is accessible by stairs. The bicycle parking lot is accessible by bicycle via Oude Ebbingestraat. This free guarded parking lot is open 24/7 and has camera surveillance and charging points for e-bikes, as well as lockers.
