The Paddepoel district is in full develpment: Next to the Polaris residential tower, two new towers will be built at the old location of the GAK: Atlas & Pleione.
The residential tower Atlas will have space for 224 foreign student and will be about 55 meters high. Pleione will have 159 appartments and be about 70 meters high. The towers will be conveniently located next to the Paddepoel shopping center and close to the Zernike Campus and Noorderplantsoen. This makes them ideal for students.
Both residential towers will be built without a gas connection, but they will be connected to the heating network for heating and hot water. The new towers Atlas & Pleione put Paddepoel further on the map as a city district center. The towers are expected to be finished in the summer of 2021.
