About this event

This year, SPOT Summerstage returns with another new series of summer concerts taking place at the Drafbaan in the Stadspark. A unique location for performances by major artists from the Netherlands and abroad! Confirmed acts so far include Snow Patrol with special guest White Lies on June 12, Kraantje Pappie’s biggest show ever on June 13, and folk rockers Mumford & Sons on Wednesday, July 1.

Summerstage was born out of the idea of attracting top national and international acts to the North and strengthening Groningen’s position as a leading music city. Last year proved to be a huge success, featuring concerts by Neil Young with special guest Van Morrison, Acda en de Munnik, and The Teskey Brothers.
