A few times a year, MartiniPlaza hosts the biggest flea market in the province. At the Stadjersmarkt (roughly “locals’ market”), the stallholders sell only second-hand and antique items, so you’ll be walking past tables full of vintage, brocante and curiosities. If you’re looking for something specific, you’ve got a good chance of finding it here. If you wander round without a plan, you’ll still often head home with a bag.

In the foyer you’ll find the braderie, with traders who sell new items instead. There’s regular live music, and every market has a free attraction for children. MartiniPlaza is on the edge of town, close to the A7 and the A28. You can park opposite the hall, for a fee.

Whether you arrive with a list or with no plan at all, expect to spend a few hours browsing.
