Every year, the Meikermis in Groningen marks the start of the fair season in the northern Netherlands and brings extra vibrancy to the city center. As the region’s largest city, it attracts not only visitors from the city itself and our province, but also many visitors from Drenthe and Friesland.
The fair takes place in the heart of the city center, on the Grote Markt, Vismarkt, and Ossemarkt. There is a wide range of attractions for children, families, and other lovers of thrilling entertainment.
