De Singelier operates under a master sommelier concept. The SVH Master Sommelier title is linked to the professional diploma, which represents the highest level of professional competence in the beverage service sector. At De Singelier, they interpret this exceptional title, held by owner Felix Huisken, as “master sommelier.” De Singelier also has an on-site artisanal distillery, where they produce their own spirits using local ingredients. Finally, De Slingerij is also included in the list of recognized Jenever Cafés, compiled by the Genever Genotschap.
